Zero Density Launched a Unified Solution for Broadcast Graphics with Reality 5.6

New additions include Lino, Zero Density’s template-based workflow for designing, managing, and controlling 2D/3D overlays, video walls, stingers, AR, XR, and Virtual Studio graphics.

Amstelveen, Netherlands — July 24, 2025Zero Density announced the release of Reality 5.6, the latest update to its comprehensive solution for virtual studio production and on-air graphics. This release sets a new industry benchmark by consolidating on-air, virtual studio, augmented reality (AR), extended reality (XR) and video wall graphics into a unified template-based solution.

At the heart of this release is the Lino workflow, which combines Unreal Engine’s Motion Design Mode for template-based graphics design with Reality Hub’s powerful control capabilities. Despite evolving broadcast demands, existing graphics tools haven’t been significantly updated, which has meant broadcasters are often compelled to rely on multiple platforms for their different types of graphics. Thanks to the state-of-the-art Reality5 with Lino workflow, designers and operators can save time and use familiar tools while controlling them all from one intuitive and advanced web-based interface.

“With Reality 5.6, we’re delivering a solution that simplifies operations, speeds up graphics design and unlocks creative freedom for broadcasters everywhere,” said Baris Zavaroglu, CEO at Zero Density. “This is the first platform that enables users to work seamlessly with on-air graphics, AR, video walls, and any other type of visual content broadcast productions require.”

Reality 5.6 empowers designers to quickly build, modify and deploy templates with design workflows that are already familiar to them — no coding or visual scripting is required either. Operators can control broadcast graphics from a single place, with seamless newsroom and automation integration with support for multi-channel playout and custom video wall resolutions.

Additional highlights of Reality 5.6 include:

  • Expanding Capabilities — Zero Density’s mission-critical virtual studio production and on-air graphics platform, Reality, has over 3 million live hours of flawlessly produced live content. With this release, its reliable and efficient capabilities are expanding with the Lino workflow being the most recent addition, to better assist its users.

  • Familiar Workflow — With the familiar content creation interface for motion graphics artists, teams can utilize their existing skill set. Artists with a 2D/3D animation background or existing broadcast graphics tools experience can start creating content within days using Unreal Engine 5 Motion Design. In addition, the Lino workflow streamlines live production, reducing operator workload while ensuring flawless execution.

  • Reality Hub LE — A no-cost edition now available for commercial use, including key modules like Lino playout and Template Builder, with no online activation needed.

Zero Density also distributes a package of example projects that includes virtual set and on-air graphics assets for the Reality users, including the Open Studio License Program community. These assets make it easier to onboard, design and utilize broadcast graphics immediately.

Paid users can access Reality 5.6 through the customer portal, while the Open Studio License Program users can download the distributions available to them from GitHub. More information is available at zerodensity.io.
