Zero Density Previews Chaos Vantage-Powered Ray Tracing, AI Newsroom Tools, and Automatic Lens Profiling

At Booth N2461, Zero Density will present its most expansive NAB showcase to date — spanning a preview of real-time ray tracing for virtual studios and XR in partnership with Chaos — the developer of V-Ray, NVIDIA Gaussian splatting rendering, AI-assisted newsroom automation running locally within Reality Hub, automatic 3D color profiling for XR video walls, and Traxis Hub’s new Automatic Lens Profiler.

NAB Show 2026, Las Vegas – April 15, 2026 – Zero Density, a global leader in virtual studio production and broadcast graphics, will present its latest technologies.

Chaos Vantage, NVIDIA Gaussian splatting, and Unreal Engine 5  will give Reality 5 platform users three distinct rendering paths — each optimized for virtual studio production — expanding the creative and technical options available to broadcast teams without changes to the core production pipeline.

At the event, Chaos and Zero Density will preview real-time ray tracing for virtual studios and XR, the result of their R&D partnership. During the live demos, Chaos Vantage will render in real time via ray tracing, and NODOS — the real-time node-based operating system — will deliver the virtual studio and XR toolsets.

Beyond the new real-time ray tracing workflow delivered by Vantage and NODOS, Zero Density will also demonstrate NVIDIA’s latest Gaussian splatting renderer on green screen and XR stage. Gaussian splatting enables real-time rendering of complex, photorealistic environments with greater computational efficiency than traditional 3D reconstruction methods.

Zero Density will also showcase the newsroom tools inside Reality Hub, set for release later this year. Designed for journalists and producers, these tools support AI-assisted proofreading, summarization, text extraction, image description, and translation in 100+ languages. For live news productions, the new tools also enable live transcription and subtitle translation using Google’s Gemma 4 model, locally running on a Reality Hub server.

With the upcoming release of Reality 5, users will be able to automatically create 3D color profiles within minutes for video walls in XR productions. Using the generated 3D color profile, the set extensions of the video walls will match the in-camera color perfectly. This new color profiling feature will be demonstrated during private sessions.

The upcoming release of Traxis Hub, Zero Density’s tracking software, will introduce the Automatic Lens Profiler, enabling users to build broadcast zoom lens profiles within minutes instead of manual processes, which take hours. With this, broadcasters can accurately profile zoom lenses themselves.

Zero Density will also present Lino, its template-based broadcast graphics workflow that enables news and live production teams to create, manage, and deploy on-air graphics directly within the Reality 5 platform. NAB 2026 attendees will get a first look at two upcoming features — the Journalist Preview for newsrooms with the MOS plugin and dedicated Ticker Module.
